High Definition video streaming can be taxing on under-powered computers, or systems using a slower internet connection. If you experience playback issues, be sure to click on the blue HD button in the lower right-hand side of the screen. This will switch the video to standard definition playback, and HD button will be grayed out.
When watching in HD, be sure to try the full screen playback: the button is also located in the lower left of the screen, next to the HD button.
DESPERADO LGBT FILM FESTIVAL
I volunteer my video services to our cities only yearly film festival for LGBT cinema. Here are the promotional trailers I have created (with the help of the staff and volunteers at Desperado) to help promote the festival. When watching the videos, be sure to click on the full screen option located in the lower right of the video.
“GOING GAGA I”
color/2011/1:35/HD Version 1 of the 2012 Desperado LGBT Film Festival promotional trailer. Two guys meet in a small cafe- but thier signals get crossed. Created with the generous assistance of “That’s a Wrap” in Phoenix, and the PVCC Pride student club.
“GOING GAGA II”
color/2011/1:50/HD Version 2 of the 2012 Desperado LGBT Film Festival promotional trailer. The transgendered are underrepresented in LGBT media, so we wanted to include these important members of this diverse community.
“MAGIC SPANKING I”
color/201o/2:00/HD Version 1 of the 2011 Desperado LGBT Film Festival promotional trailer. Tough guy meets magical waif inside an elevator. I know- seems to happen all the time.
“MAGIC SPANKING II”
color/201o/1:50/HD Version 2 of the 2011 Desperado LGBT Film Festival promotional trailer. College student meets cowgirl in an elevator- but a common interest brings them together. Look familiar?
“HOMO AT HOME ON THE RANGE”
color/2009/1:30/HD The promotional trailer for the first Desperado Film Festival. Shot on location at Phoenix’s North Mountain Preserve. The cast is made up from the “Men of Charlies” (famous Phoenix gay-bar).
“HOMO AT HOME ON THE RANGE PREVIZ”
color/2009/1:00/HD This is the crude animation I did as pre-visualization exercise to show the festival producer’s what I was going for. Kind of an animated storyboard so that the crew and actors knew what was expected.
